Commission A Painting

The cost of doing a painting depends significantly on the amount of work involved more so than the actual size. It will depend upon whether you choose to have a head, full- body or environmental portrait. Additionally, customized, imaginative pieces of artwork can be requested and will be priced according to the amount of work involved. The typical time-frame for a head or full-body portrait is 4-5 weeks and pricing starts at $350. Environmental portraits or customized artwork will take longer.

You will be sent two images during the painting process to ensure that the art piece is on target to meet your expectations. Once your painting has been completed, it will be printed on high grade, fine-art paper with a unique deckle-edge and mounted on 8 ply mat board with a choice of debossed panel or bevel cut edge. It will be sent to you unframed but ready for framing. Framing options, if required, are available and some examples are provided below. There are many other frames to choose from or you can choose to frame the painting yourself to suit your décor. Other presentations, such as canvas or acrylic are also available. Advice will be provided on the suitability of any given presentation for your type of painting.
